California State Assembly Committee on Jobs, Ecomomic Development and the Economy Hearing.

The JEDE will hold its second AB1139 hearing in San Diego on October 8, 2009.  The agenda and the hearing subject matter should be released soon by the Committee.

California State Assembly Committee on Jobs, Ecomomic Development and the Economy Hearing.

The third and final hearing on AB1139 is tentatively scheduled to take place in San Jose on October 14, 2009.  A vote is anticipated by the Committee in the first two weeks in January 2010.  Details to be released soon.

California Association of Enterprise Zones Annual Meeting

This year, the meeting will take place in Fresno, California.  Representatives from many of California’s 42 Enterprise Zones will be in attendance along with other government officials and consultants.  The annual event focuses on training and recent events, including significant legislative changes in the world of California’s Enterprise Zones.
